- I was pretty much raised by the saxophone in Alabama and then had a second childhood as a guitarist-singer-songwriter in California. I now gig as a sax-man while I write and record my own style of Americana music which is rooted in jazz, blues, country, folk and the Beatles.
Occasionally I write add music for T.V. or the internet.
I had quite a few influential teachers in the past (although they might say I was a pretty independent student). Steve Sample, Joel Phillips and Chris Gordon were especially amazing teachers and I still use what they taught me daily.
