Guild of Northern Media Composers

The Guild of Northern Media Composers was set up in late 2009 to celebrate the work and raise the profile of media composers working in the north of England. The guild hosts meetings and events of interest to media composers, makes members music available to media companies to license through its web site, has a collaboration board for members to swap services and is a forum for exchanging ideas and information. Hi Steve - I checked out that website, Screened Music. It looks you know whether or not they have been successful in actually landing work for people? I know they screen the music and use industry panelists, but I don't see much reference to facilitating the ability to land actual scoring gigs. Do you have any more insight into this? Thanks... -Bob
