Professional composer since 1976. Started with jingles. First major project was a disco album in conjunction with WDC called "Disco Disney." Have written many disks of production music for CSS Music, Los Angeles and TMC in Dallas. Wrote and produced "Radio! The Musical" in 2002 in partnership with WBAP, Dallas-Ft. Worth.

Have just about given up on MIDI over LAN with my old G5.  Had it working O.K. but the MIDI Network would get hinkey forcing a restart on both the G5 and Mac Pro.  I DID love the low CPU usage on both machines but the frustration factor won out.

 

Now I'm wrestling with VE Pro.  Going to use it only on the Mac Pro with 16 MB of RAM using DP 7.24.  Anyone else using a similar configuration?  Have a production music CD that's been due for months now.  Need a solid operating system so I can finish this sucker!! ;-)
