"Hi James, I listened to it twice and found it quite nice. It also sounds like music for an adventurous cowboy movie. The only thing I would do differently is modulate the last recurrence of the main theme up a whole tone just to avoid repetitiveness…"

"Hi Dave, Interesting again. I guess I had that old superman cartoon in mind that I mentioned on my other post. I've not seen Megamind, but you've made me suitably curious. As for my passing off of BTTF theme, it's not something I…"

"Bob, It's a strange one, I always feel like anything I come up with is more intuitive than anything else. Ergo me making it up as I go along. I'd love to study any/all of those disciplines in depth, an MA or even some decent books on the…"

"I see the Western thing myself thanks to the rhythm, but I think it would work as a superhero theme in the right movie. It's not a Marvel or DC Comics theme. It'd be an animated, over the top, kids-and-grups-alike kind of affair. If…"

"James, As a result, you have basics of composition. Composition classes will deal with forms of composition, and how to apply theory to them. Some may deal with orchestration. Although my school dealt with those things in separate classes unrelated…"

"Bob, Interesting interpretation. I would never have imagined it in a Western! I studied music theory as a module when I was an undergraduate in Music Production. We didn't really cover composition, it was more musical…"

"James, This music does not in the least bit strike me as "super hero" music. It DOES strike me as perfect music for a Western. Depending on how and where you studied music theory, there are many aspects of composition included in music…"
