Ok here it is, my first blog. Aren't you all fortunate to get to read this! haha. Well, here's a bit about me. I am a trombonist, and I always have had the impulse to write since high school band days.
I didn't study composition much in school though, though I did take an electronic music class in undergraduate school, where I learned the very useful technique of composing using tape manipulation, that really comes in handy now ( not!) . Also tried programming these two giant Moog

I'm looking forward to getting some better orchestra sounds so I can hear this with something closer to a real string section. But man, hearing a real string orchestra play it would be amazing! Or even a string quartet for that matter :) Thanks so much for your feedback, means alot to me coming from you.
I really like the string thing ( Catastrophe ). I'd love to hear it played by real strings ( bet you would as well! ) :)
" Caravan " is interesting too -with the digeridoo and the "sorta arabic " scale ..
