I am a professional musician - drummer, percussionist living in Nashville TN. I am a full ime member of the folk, rock band, Caedmon's Call and play sessions, tour live and compose music for many genres out of my home studio, Dublin Mix. I have had the honor of recording and performing with Caedmons for almost 13 years now, also toured and/or recorded with India.Arie, David Wilcox, Bebo Norman, Andrew Peterson, Sandra McCracken, Derek Webb, Andrew Osenga, SonicFlood and many others. I have also recorded on a Grammy winning album by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir as well as performed and co-composed an invited submission - movie trailer with Jars of Clay for Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" as well as collaboration on a short video music composition for NASA's education website.
I am as of recent, looking to become more involved in the commercial, television, film, multi-media composition business and am looking to learn as much as I can about this side of the arts.

Awesome! I am looking forward to hearing the new stuff. Are you still doing stuff with Caedmon's Call? I have been working on some new stuff, but like you I've also been sidetracked.
Hey, thanks for the comments! It's good to see you're back on here! No, I didn't have real strings recorded for Destiny (I wish I had those kind of resources!) I blended together 3 different pieces from John Williams "Memoirs of A Geisha" score (very good movie, by the way). and added all the drums and percussion sounds to make it sound cohesive. I'm glad you liked it! let me know what you think of some of the other stuff too. I'm a really big fan of Caedmon's Call by the way, so I think it's neat that you're on here. I will listen to your tracks very soon!
Added some music, but having trouble getting it to work...i always have problems uploading music to these sites! argghh...
Ill keep trying...
if you do get it to play, then I will say - this stuff is 10 years old but its all i got thats in listening form so far. Lots in the works and as soon as I get it to a finish point, I will share...

Welcome to the forum Garett ;) What kind of drumming do you do most? Do you do some Elvin Jones?? Glad to have you here man, post some MP3s of your work and a snap or 2 of your writing setup, or just cool pics of drums!
Im a newbie here and am probably the least experienced of everyone here! I am here looking to learn as much as I can from professonals such as you and welcome any advice, tips, or criticism you may have!
I have been a professional percussionist/drummer in the music industry for a good long while now and have recently found a desire to become involved in performing and composing music for media...what ever that may be. Im barely getting my feet wet and look forward to sitting back and soaking it all in!
