Hi Dain, I love looking at the photos of your "cave"! Kind of a "retro guy", eh? That's an old Korg patchcord synth, isn't it? I remember playing with one of those on the way home from school in the organ shop once. Great fun :)
There sure are a lot of my kind of people on this forum, LOL!
with the lovely karmic dissolution of capital records, marjorie fair is not doin much these days. i've got way too much work on my hands and honestly i'm kind of done with the smelly tour bus anyway. i have a girl, a dog, a garden, and a train next to my house that takes me to the best sushi in this country. besides nobody buys records anymore anyway do they?
Now I know what you are doing with all those "stray" wires...
Not so stray, are they?
I remember Radiohead played on SNL after Kid A was released. I don't remember who it was in the group... maybe you know... he was playing the patch cables for all the synths. Some really nice oscillators and filters... I love it when the sounds are so rich and organic-- do you know what I mean? Not canned.
Your stuff is like that. Alive.
Man, I remember back when you were playing around with those early sequencing keyboards, as far back as junior high, right?
I didn't get it then.
Man, I wish I got it. I wish I new where it was all headed...
Anyway, I really like your stuff.
