Chris Gordon - Songwriter !

I have just added 6 new songs for you to hear. I just got them from the studio in a format I could share here. (1) Like Children - was considered for use as the theme for the Atlanta Summer Olympics; but, alas, it came in second in the selection process. New Tune additions - Blue Rain and Cycles

I added some new tunes to the top of my play list. I had some cassette tapes transfered to mp-3 thanks to Shane Porter, but admit the tapes haven't aged well and sound like they are as old as they are. So I apologize. I wanted to put up some sampling of big band writing that had been published. I used to be a staff writer for Kendor Music, Inc., which used to be one of the major educational big band publishers in the country. I assume they still are but don't know any more. I was the writer o

They rerecorded this version for the Awesome CD and I wrote the horn arrangement for this recording and played trumpet on the recording as well, with my friends the Tuscaloosa Horns.

#2 Long Time No See is an R&B singel from a yet to be

Hey Chris! Amazing how a site like this can instantly reconnect people. I haven't spoken with Steve S. in ages (same for most of the guys you named!), but I'm thrilled to be back in touch. Glad to know we share some of the same UofA/Sample DNA. I'll check out more of your music, but the initial sampling is great! Jeff

Hi Chris:

We do seem to be from similar eras with similar tastes. Just for fun , I put up a couple All Braggs "old school " R&B things I arrnged and produced in the late 70s on my page. Check em out ..the technology has really changed, but mine are all live players ( back when they let up do that kinda thing! :)
