Hello
Been a tracker musician for quite some time. Have recently started using Sibelius and come here to find others like minded
Enjoyed "From The Heart," Calle. A nice addition to the "songs without words" genre. Always nice to hear a real instrument played. Also enjoyed the waltz. It didn't sound like a traditional waltz, but who cares? It's lovely. I listened to all of them. Very nice atmospheric or mood music.
I was using Open MPT because it was quite advanced and I wanted to reuse some of my old Amiga mod files. After a few months I wasn't fully satisfied from the performance and functionality of Open MPT and I decided to by Renoise which I've been using since then. In some aspects Open MPT was easier to use but in others Renoise is superior. It took me some time to convert files produced in Open MPT to Renoise format - especially all VST effects.
Actually this is what brought me to the Composers' Forum! I found your post about finishing Dark City on another forum, probably related to Open MPT (which I was using at that time), and there was a link to your profile. And then I registered here...
Coming back to your question: yes, I like Dark Forum.
