Vn replied to Ashley Berg's discussion When was the last time you composed music for a client?
"I did a feature film and about 16 trailer cuts recently. The trailers were painful, dont do it unless u get paid for it :). Overall quite an enjoyable experience once you take money out of the equation. Its not my main source of income so i could…"

Vn replied to Ashley Berg's discussion What kind of software do you use in your creative workflow?
"I use Cakewalk (now Bandlab) Sonar Platinum as my DAW. My music is exclusively VST/DAW based, no live stuff (yet). My primary VST libs these days are by Spitfire Audio, a UK based firm. They are absolutely gorgeous. They take a bit of a learning…"

About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I have been a hobby musician and composer, mostly self taught since high school. I played the keyboards as part of my school and college band (classic rock). I have been working in the video games industry for over 25 years (Capcom, EA etc). I started my own company in 2010 where we build games and movies for kids and families (Gamaya Inc.) I have written music for video games and we recently completed an animated feature film based on Indian Mythology for which I wrote the sound track and 2 songs. I mostly write orchestral/hybrid music. I work with Cakewalk Sonar Platinum and a slew of Kontakt based VSTs (Spitfire, Project Sam, Orchestral Tools and Best Service).
