"Very well done. Intelligent and emotional music. Although being cinematic, it certainly doesn't need a movie, it creates its own images and exactly those you depicted. Congrats to you Kjell"

"Hi Vn, That's some good haunted house music there! I don't usually follow "cinematic" works that much, but this one is several cuts above the pack. Good imagery, which captures the intent of your description quite well I think.…"

Patxi's Ghost

Hi All,Here is a new song I wrote - Patxi's Ghost. Please share ur comments & feedback. The story goes like this...On the way back from a late night movie, as I walked past an old building, I heard faint musical notes. I ventured inside; It was an abandoned performing arts theater with broken chairs and old orchestral instruments, covered in cobwebs. I felt a bit nervous being in there when, BANG! The door behind me shut itself! Torn curtains glowing in the moonlight swayed eerily. A chill…See More

"Nice piece. Very calming. At 58s, I do find the strings suddenly drop out - it seems like a few notes didnt play there for a bar or so? Rest of the mix sounded good to me. Thx! Vn"

Vn replied to Galih Setiawan's discussion Quarter Gelo (Epic Music)
"Hi Galih, The music and production quality are quite nice. Good job! I dont think they would have rejected the piece because of that. A few things to consider - the ostinato pattern stays steady almost throughout the song and that can make it feel a…"

Vn replied to Bob Porter's discussion Is it harder to write fast music, or slow music?

About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I have been a hobby musician and composer, mostly self taught since high school. I played the keyboards as part of my school and college band (classic rock). I have been working in the video games industry for over 25 years (Capcom, EA etc). I started my own company in 2010 where we build games and movies for kids and families (Gamaya Inc.) I have written music for video games and we recently completed an animated feature film based on Indian Mythology for which I wrote the sound track and 2 songs. I mostly write orchestral/hybrid music. I work with Cakewalk Sonar Platinum and a slew of Kontakt based VSTs (Spitfire, Project Sam, Orchestral Tools and Best Service).
