- Thanks Ed. We're all just really busy. You know how it is: work, kids, mortgages, etc. Ryan joined up yesterday, he's the songwriter on all of the Urth stuff.

- 'm not sure if the music (mp3 )players on Ning can count the number of plays... But, if they do, I must be responsible for your numbers being way up. I can't seem to get enough of those Urth tunes.
I become OCD with tunes I like. I listen over and over. My poor wife, for example, has heard enough Snow Patrol-- man, I like all their tunes (well, except one on the latest release with the tori amos sounding singer in a duet).
Anyway, why the hell haven't you guys done anything for so long?

The Disco specs are pretty serious. They are VERY particular about everything. In fact, 85% of the shows that are delivered to them fail QC. It's insane.

So, here I am! Thanks to Ed and Chris for inviting me in...
This could be very cool. I'll be inviting people to join shortly.
Who am I? I am currently Senior Mixer / Sound Designer at MVI Post just outside Washington, D.C. I am not a professional composer, but I work with several for the programs I mix. My clients include The National Geographic Channel, Discovery, PBS, FOX, and a variety of independent producers and advertising types. I've had the pleasure to work with a lot of really cool people over the years and am thankful for every opportunity I've been given. Most recently I completed the "Planet Earth" series with Sigourney Weaver for Discovery, "Underworld" with Anthony LaPaglia for NGC, and "Engineering The Impossible" with Avery Brooks for NGC.
I'm apparently in two bands (though we haven't done anything in quite a long time). The music that is on my page is from those bands and were written by Ryan Owens.
Let's network!
