Some DAW plug in Deals that might be too good to pass up

No this isn't spam or me trying to sell you anything. I've been recording for quite awhile and during that time you begin to see what's good and what isn't. During this process I sometimes come…Continue

The Mystery

This is mood music mainly designed for relaxation. I am learning the workings of a new harp vst I just picked up on a Valantine's day sale. …Continue

Thy Kingdom Come

A kingdom being born. So this song indicates a transitional state. I appreciate any suggestions. I didn't make this loud. I might not have made it loud enough. I'm trying to get a feel for what is a…Continue

"Micheal this is a cursory comment  that I hope will be helpful to you. I don't have the time to go into great detail on it at this time, so I'll give a sort of overview of how I would likely approach the issue. Of course if…"

Some DAW plug in Deals that might be too good to pass up

No this isn't spam or me trying to sell you anything. I've been recording for quite awhile and during that time you begin to see what's good and what isn't. During this process I sometimes come across daw plugins that are a bit better than the typical ones included for good prices. They all have my email and I get all of these deals or periodic sales when they come out. I'm simply passing this along to you to do what you will with. If you intended to buy any of thesesaving 30-50% might be…See More

"Well I'm a little late to the party here...about a year late. I am a long time user of Cakewalk. Yes there were a few niggles about Cakewalk and the Bandlab app. I'm happy to say there are work arounds for all of that. Understandably the…"

Timothy Smith replied to Jon Corelis's discussion An interesting quote
"Music as a tool to sway public opinion is nothing new. In the 60's rock music was used as a form of escapism for a few to get away from what they perceived to be a stodgy mindset. To be the "new" generation with "new" ideas.…"

Timothy Smith replied to Jon Corelis's discussion An interesting quote
"Wow. I wonder what "new" music was back then? As to the merge of music /politics, this statement would imply that all music is affected by politics. If new music were shunned there would be none of it. I think even Plato got it wrong a few…"

Timothy Smith replied to David Carovillano's discussion Dance of the Devilish Demons - orchestral soundtrack
"Hey David. I thought it was well done. Sorry I didn't comment right away on the music as it stands on it's own. I guess I am predisposed to certain stereotypes and biases like everyone else. I wouldn't personally have named it that…"

Timothy Smith replied to David Carovillano's discussion Dance of the Devilish Demons - orchestral soundtrack
"Hmmm. It wasn't what I expected. I was thinking more modern horror genre. That stuff can scare the living crap out of a person. Like Marilynn Manson types of stuff. Disclaimer I am not nor ever will I be a lover of his music. In fact, I find it…"

Timothy Smith replied to David Carovillano's discussion Improving the Finale version using a DAW
"Dave, I hope I didn't imply in my response that you were looking to recruit players. I think I just wanted to see if the average violinist would have an interest in it. I will admit, some of this was for my own knowledge in making new material…"

I have been involved in music for most of my life although I don't make a living at music. I would consider myself a hobbyist composer. I don't attempt to market any of my music, although I have released a guitar CD. I play guitar, piano, bouzouki, harmonica, and am an aspiring violinist. I am a worship leader/pianist at my local church. My website online mainly deals with world and Celtic music styles.
