About Me:
Stephen studied drama at Manchester University before becoming a drummer. He made a living as a street entertainer for a while and won the title of 'European Street Entertainers of the Year' with the band The Railtown Bottlers. Session work followed with, amongst others, Squeeze, Aimee Mann, Nanci Griffith and Alison Moyet.

He is a founder member of Britains most innovative chamber group ensemblebash. During the life of the group, has worked with musicians such as Stewart Copeland, Steve Reich, Nitin Sawhney, Joanna MacGregor, Nana Vasconcelos, Evelyn Glennie, Django Bates, Kathryn Tickell, Chick Corea and The Pan African Orchestra. He works at Shakespeares Globe regularly as both percussionist and Musical Director.

He is also a composer and has just finished working on a large scale commission to open the Bath International Festival at Bath Abbey this year as well as a BBC radio series and other theatre work. He has been commissioned by such contemporary artists as New Noise, Stephen Gutman, Three Strange Angels and The Mavron Quartet. He also works in theatre and film with Facepack Theatre and Company Paradiso and has written the music for advertising campaigns by Canon and Johnny Walker.

Welcome to the composers' forum, and thanks for presenting some of your music here.
I don't know how much time you have between jobs to participate here but any members who are budding media composers will do well to check this page out.
