I agree that the use of different mutes can really help with making the color or changing the color of the music.
I love it in pieces when the trombones play with that edgy sound. (:

- For your information, something small that plays really high notes and whines when they don't have the melody is not sexy. If anything is sexy it would have to be the Bass Trombone.
