"This is the second movement in F major - Andante. Some thoughts about this. It was much more difficult to write the second movement then the first. I think the primary reason was the voicing. I wanted each string section to be clear and not drown…"

Saul Gefen replied to Gav Brown's discussion Should Composers’ Forum Continue in 2020/21?
"Most people will be discouraged to pay $60 in one shot, I wouldn't mind it but I think most would. I don't get the 'taking control of the flow of your money' why would anyone be concerned about this give this is such a low…"

Saul Gefen replied to Gav Brown's discussion Should Composers’ Forum Continue in 2020/21?
"I personally think that there should be a membership between $5 to a month for anyone that is accepted as a composer in this site. Those composers who join and almost never post then their membership should be conditioned on payment this fee. I…"

H. S. Teoh replied to Saul Gefen's discussion Symphony In C
"This is purely my personal opinion, so please take this with a suitably-sized grain of salt. I found the main theme very beautiful and the rhythms very invigorating. However, I felt that in many places a lot of opportunities to build momentum were…"

Liz Atems replied to Saul Gefen's discussion Symphony In C
"Wow. Then either my ears are really defective or the Albion 1 sound is a bit off because I could swear I heard the main theme being doubled in the low brass a couple of times! I should add, though, that that is the ONLY clearly non-string sound that…"

Saul Gefen replied to Saul Gefen's discussion Symphony In C
"Thank you Liz. The harmony for this symphony is pretty conspicuous to give it that cheer feeling. Funny about the pizzicato I thought I over done it a little but you said you wanted more of it, its interesting how different musicians differ on…"

Liz Atems replied to Saul Gefen's discussion Symphony In C
"Saul, this is beautiful! I like the opening theme and the way it is developed. At first I thought the harmony was too static, but you do go into the dominant for a while midway. There were a few places I thought the pizzicato strings could stand out…"
