A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Ryan Brady is a professional composer, songwriter, pianist and award winning vocalist. He currently writes music for several production companies and has composed custom content for a variety of shows on ESPN, TLC, A&E, ABC, CBS, PBS, MTV, Style, E!, Discovery and The History Channel. His work has also been broadcast internationally on various networks in Canada, Mexico, Sweden, France and the UK.

In addition to composing for TV/Film, Ryan has licensed work in a number of other mediums. In radio, his music has been licensed for promotional advertisements for high profile clients such as Chevrolet. Recently, Ryan licensed theme music to international game developer Twilight Mouse, for use in the mobile development of Michael Rieneck’s Santiago De Cuba, a game that will be available via the app store for iOS/Android devices in the Summer of 2013 (browser-based gameplay on Mac/PC also to be released).

In 2003, Mr. Brady was selected by the late Elmer Bernstein as a semi-finalist in Turner Classic Movie's Young Film Composers Competition. Having been exposed to a wide array of musical genres in his youth, Ryan is frequently praised for his musical eclecticism and ability to quickly compose moving production tracks for visual media. In addition to studio work, Mr. Brady is an active educator and performer, having performed in major venues throughout the United States and Europe. He holds a degree in music from San Jose State University where he studied Composition, Film Scoring and Studio Arts.

You're right, I'm going for the 'epic' sound on this but I also want to create a more delicate and romantic score soon.

I'm really just getting to grips with the EastWest Symphonic Orchestra (Platinum) library.

 

P.S. just had a quick listen to your stuff and it sounds fantastic. The separation and clarity is something I've yet to master.

Mine sounds congested to me at the moment.  Lots of learning to do.

I'm about to start my final year at uni studying music. I'm specializing in composition and really hoping to get some work in the industry in the future. Here's hoping! :) Thanks again.

I just though I'd let you know I've just posted 10 new tracks I've written in the course of the last six months or so between my university Music course.
