"Mine was the last one! It's the only one that kind of fits with my musical taste a bit more... It wasn't exactly a gig so much as an open source project. I was considering perhaps getting into that industry so I thought I'd give it a…"

"Nice!  I think my favorites in that playlist are the 2nd and the 4th track.  So how did you get that gig?  Was that game ever for sale or just for download?"

Join the Journey / Start of a New Journey

These songs are supposed to go together, so I am posting both in this thread.  I wanted them to be for an RPG video game until I read that video games do not pay royalties, just one time payments.  So I'll need to think of a different application. The idea though was to have a group of maybe three companions decide to join together on a journey or quest to save the kingdom.  Each member gives their reason for joining (as played by the pan flute).  Then once they join together, they start their…See More

Ronald Fontenot replied to Lucas Oliveira Krumenaur's discussion A little prelude about disappointment and the majesty of a simple and solemn life
"It might just be me, but I don't really get the feeling of disappointment or solemn life from your piece.  I'm not the best judge of music though, maybe someone else has opinions.  I enjoyed your prelude though."

My name is Ronald Fontenot and I am a composer, artist, author and illustrator. I began my music journey by composing children's melodies. This grew to composing children's songs and now I am composing songs intended for video games and animated short films. I have not done anything professional as of yet, but I would like to. I am a recent graduate of Colorado State University with a BFA in electronic art. I enjoy writing my own music to videos I have made for children. My channels on youtube include Kids Vids SCJ, YTKidsVIds and MusicSCJ. SCJ stands for Scott C. Johnson which is my pen name as an author and an artist. You can just call me Ronald though:)
