The FOX and BEAR - Modern Medieval Story Song

Hello,I just completed this song about two adventurers, a fox and a bear.  I wouldn't classify the song specifically as a "children's" song, though I want it to appeal to kids.  But it's a (modern) medieval fantasy story song.  Comments, critiques and feedback are welcomed, thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWiPacg0PSM- Ronald J. "So I sometimes have trouble relating a song to a theme as suggested. Neither am I a golfer, so maybe I'm a bit disconnected from this to comment on it accurately.  Sounds like a decent basic theme sort of thing to me. Nothing pops out at…"

"As I've said before this isn't really my kind of music but it sounded pretty cheerful, nicely produced and reminiscent of wandering musicians who'd stop off and entertain at town plazas and taverns. (Not that I was around in those…"

"Definitely has that medieval vibe in it. It does sound lively and fun! I guess as a demo the lack of the feeling of space ( no reverb) coupled with the extra tight rhythm would be ok. This is only my opinion, I would probably "humanize"…"

"Hi Ronald Lovely piece, for sure. Unfortunately the chord accompaniment is a bit dull and the harmony is not always adequate. The recording seems pretty much OK and the flutes are brilliant, as well as their interweaving play. Maybe the percussion…"

"If you were interested on a slightly modern take, can I assume you're familiar with the Mediaeval Baebes? Mostly traditional but they blend with more modern styles occasionally. For anyone interested: https://youtu.be/t0v7nv2s3tQ"

We need more Help for this Serious Journey

I composed this song for a fantasy story (I haven't written yet).  My thinking is the heroes have just suffered a devastating loss (maybe a major town was destroyed), and they realize they need more help to face the enemy.  So the song is about reflection.  Thoughts and comments are welcomed.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIh2TLS9mEUSee More

My name is Ronald Fontenot and I am a composer, artist, author and illustrator. I began my music journey by composing children's melodies. This grew to composing children's songs and now I am composing songs intended for video games and animated short films. I have not done anything professional as of yet, but I would like to. I am a recent graduate of Colorado State University with a BFA in electronic art. I enjoy writing my own music to videos I have made for children. My channels on youtube include Kids Vids SCJ, YTKidsVIds and MusicSCJ. SCJ stands for Scott C. Johnson which is my pen name as an author and an artist. You can just call me Ronald though:)
