I was probably drunk when I put this together. Unfortunately, I am not a great composer yet, hence the result. I think I'll just cut the last half of the tune off and have it as a miniature, seeing as it is here to be judged, not be actually listene…

I didn't know there was harmony in there somewhere. I'm guessing you mean the bit where the mid-range bass makes it's first appearance. Thanks for the feedback.

I do like old-school hip-hop and some jazz, but I never thought it comes through. You have surprised me. Cool!

You've gone from 'ermm' to 'i like it...!'. Unusual isn't supposed to mean good, but in the hubbub of the modern race for fresh sound, my music might just pass off as good:) I shall take your comment about vamping on board and systematically erase…

Thanks, man. I appreciate where you're coming from with the kids' TV villain, I did spend kind of a lot of time growing up in front of the telly. Making stuff for cartoons would be a dream come true. I'm afraid I will stick to the midi format for a…

hehe its pretty cool, makes me feel like I have the spins from being so drunk im ready to barf. I had a great professor that once told me the mark of a great composer is being able to make decisions quickly and to move on, and to finish projects. An…

Nice harmonic stracture there! I'd prefer it more simple thow. I agree with Paul there.. Try simplyfing in the bass cleff all those chords.. I m sure it would sound perfect on a recording.. Cubase or Digital Performer (on Mac) would do perfect. =)

cool tune there! I understand the pattern that is being played, and I can hear this easily being a rap or hip-hop style as well. Maybe some jazz hits here and there in it. As mentioned earlier, it could be done in a comedic film or even a childrens…

ermm,,,this is a very odd piece of music.. its strangely good.. i like it actually!,, but i think the pianos left hand (whatever instruments that is supposed to represent) needs to vary a little. it does an awful lot of vamping, some variation would…

A very strange little piece with odd combinations of notes, but it does work in a way. I can imagine it being the theme of a villain in children's TV programme because of all the 4th, 5ths and diminished intervals and chromatic notes. The reason why…

Given that extra info I will take another listen soon - thanks.

I see. I'm afraid I possess no patience to record it with real instruments, as experience shown that I am never happy with the end result and tweak and tweak and tweak. Neither do I possess to skill and software to record it with virtual instruments…

It's so hard to judge this being a midi. You need to tell us which instrument plays each line. Or better still try to record it with real or virtual instruments. I'm not even clear which is the melody line. At the moment it sounds like an unusual cl…

Here's the thing. I don't know why it's called Crescent Wrench. Originally I was going to call it Monkey Wrench. Don't know why either. I was at university back then. Being a student, an' all (pass the bong, maaaaan), things didn't have to make much…

Very nice, I could even hear this as a chiptune type sound. I reckon it could also work well as a large orchestra sound too.
