Getting it down on paper (or onto notation software)

I can sit at my keyboard and write some lovely stuff.  The problem is getting it onto paper or into a notation software package.  Trying to write it down on score paper kills the spontinaety (sp?), and I can't keep the flow going when I try to use notation software - having to keep to a strict beat somehow kills it.  Do others have a similar problem, and if so, what do you do to overcome it?See More
