Hello Friends, it is a bit low on my side, due to several reasons. My wife broke her left foot and I caught a cold, so our home really has turned into some sort of a hospital. We both are recovering slowly. Soon I will have that Symphony ready (new…

Ha! Dutch man That I should tell anyone I'm not going to listen every note they have written :)) Of course 128 isn't the best but all these top rate critics here will see past the resolution and enjoy the structure :)) The Scotsman

Hi Ray, 128Kbps is far too low to reflect any quality. You don't have to listen to those 52 minutes in one go. Besides that I am not uploading this large piece. Working with Sonar 8 now, I encountered a lot of problems, so it is far from ready. I ju…

Raymond, Not one movement that is less than 20 Mb not even at 128kbps? Surely you have something else a little shorter than 52 minutes or an excerpt from this symphony that would have listeners asking for more? I must say, I'm probably unlikely to…

ps i just realized that today would have been my mother's birthday were she alive -- i lost her las year as I may have told you.... and then this year my close friend Donna at only 50 years of age. My Requiem is slated to be performed next year, and it will now be in both their memories. How poignant this all is -- I did get to visit my friend in may and then in a month she was gone.

Hugs,
K

OK I almost never spend this much time listening, but you have a really wonderful symphony here, so many wonderful melodies, details and developments, really well done. I will say that while you obviously spent a lot of time making the sequence sound good, it still is betrayed in many places as being digital, so I will again mention I cant wait to hear this live! Holy Smokes! :-)

I am enjoying the first movement of your symphony 1, very nice! Many of the types of big deep and dark kinds of sounds I love. Cant wait to hear this performed live!

Since a couple of days I am a member of this community. To my surprise I found quite a lot of other people, known from other forums. I sincerely hope that I can contribute to this forum, though I've found out that posting music files is rather restricted in length. Since I am writing a symphony and none of the parts will be under 20 Mb, with a reasonable quality compression to Mp3, I must upload them either to my website or Box.net.

In fact the that huge work (about 52 minutes) is ready and alr… Continue
