I have been playing and writing music for a very long time but I am not a trained musician.

I have a page on soundcloud which has not been very active for a while because I have been trying to write something orchestral and have discovered how difficult it really is.

I wish I had access to better samples and that I was more expert in using what I have but also I am now wondering whether to stick to using various forms of synthesis (all of them but more Physical Modelling and FM), because in the end a sample is always a static recording of someone playing.

You can find versions of the pieces here:

The sound cloud page is:

This has much more synth based music but as I said I have not posted anything for a long while. When the piece I am working on now is finished and I have decided what to do with it (if anything) I will probably post more.

My reason for wanting to join is that I would like to be part of a community of people who are on a similar path, and to learn and possibly teach.
