I am new to the Composer's Forum - so I am still trying to figure out how it works, etc.


I write music for video, and actually shoot my own video as well. I'm developing a style with these primary instruments: piano, accordion, guitar, bass.

"So fascinating! Music is entirely visual for me as well, and extremely colorful. I don't see song sections/forms in the same way you do - but very similar. They are rectangular blocks, with rounded corners, and not specifically color coded.…"

"Yes Alya - you are right on all counts - live is better. The other problem with MIDI instruments is that they are stridently in tune, and this loses all the warmth of natural intonation between instruments."
