About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
Studied and taught. Professional, on and off (as are most of us), since 1985.
Born Jerusalem, Israel, grew up in Philadelphia and New York in the U.S. Love all sorts of music, from Ethnic to Classical to Improvised Jazz and on and on. A common thread i think is melody and funk, those 2 things speak to me most, and the rest make it or break it! My specialty is hand percussion, and i play guitars and keys as well as sing. My strengths are composition and arrangement. I have a handicap: I do not read or write music. But i'd like to think i'm cool and i swing. i'm also dillusional. the latter is a joke. i think. i hope.
Hi Oded, Thanks for listening and for the comment. You are an improviser, and, to my opinion, this is more interesting than composing music by writing. I started listening to your pieces and find them both humorous and inspiration. I read a piano music (traditionally notated) relatively good, but not MIDI, although I work primarily with MIDI. So I am as handicaped as you regarding the notation. If you are interested to discuss music when you are in Israel, give me a call: 04-9590758 (although my Hebrew is not my strength).
