Yes. That seems to be an issue in Finale. If the music was recorded using a keyboard or MIDI input device, Finale only puts the length of the note to the time you held it on the keyboard. Very annoying if you're playing staccato. I'd say try using o…

- I play a bit of everything, piano, viola, cello, flute, piccolo, and bass trombone, however I mainly do orchestrations/arrangements. I do all my arrangements using Finale 2009 and occasionally Reason
I'll also be attending the New Zealand School of Music, on a Bachelor of Music in Composition, starting 2010.
