- Grew up with bands like Metallica & Guns N Roses but fell in love with film scores when I was about 16 with The Last Of The Mohicans soundtrack. I quickly went from just playing guitar and piano to learning MIDI and audio engineering. Before I knew it I was composing for short films in Austin, TX. This led me to becoming a film student myself with a concentration in post production sound. But the music never left. I worked as a sound editor for Robert Rodriguez for a little while but then decided to do the composing thing full time. Moved to LA and have been doing well ever since. I love combing the elements of rock and pop with classical cinematic textures. Favorite artists: Peter Gabriel, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Sting, Hanz Zimmer, James Newton Howard, and Michael Isham.
