About Me (MUST be more than 10 words to be approved):
My earliest musical experiences go back to my childhood, when I used to clamber up to sit at my older brother’s piano: once I’d got there, I could listen to the sounds those black and white keys made.

I began studying both the piano and composition a few years later. I was particularly interested in learning about the new technologies applied to music and I gradually went from an “aspiring pianist” to “aspiring composer”…

My first professional experiences were in the area of music for the theatre. I wrote original pieces for a few shows and arranged the music for popular musicals and comedy musicals produced by amateur and professional theatrical companies.

In the meantime, I continued my training. I studied Composition at the “San Pietro a Majella” Conservatory of Music in Naples and later specialized in Composition, Arranging and Programming Music at the "Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo" in the province of Cuneo. I continued to be interested in both the study of music and the means of expression that modern technology has to offer today’s composers.

As the years went by, I began to develop a great passion and natural inclination for music applied to images and this led me into the world of soundtracks: films (documentaries, docufilms, shorts, cartoons, commercials, etc.) and the “new media” (videogames, CD-Rom, websites, etc.).

I have also been given the opportunity to give voice to my interests by composing music for some of the most prestigious on-line music magazines in the soundtracks and new musical technology sector.

A series of meetings, phone calls, trips and other events turned my passion into my profession almost without me even noticing, even though I have always tried to treat it as a game, with the same childhood spirit I had when climbing up to my brother’s piano.
“Take what you’re doing seriously without taking yourself too seriously” is what I tell myself all the time…

I have composed soundtracks for various documentaries produced by RAI, Mediaset and other satellite television stations in Italy, a few videogames such as "I play 3d Billiards" (distributed in 5 countries), many websites, multimedia applications etc.
I also collaborate with "A&G Soluzioni digitali” as a "SoundScape” composer. These lengthy pieces are used by sophisticated systems designed for public environments.

Lastly, I also dedicate time to teaching. I have directed several music workshops and have also held courses in music informatics in public and private schools. My goal is to promote knowledge of the new technologies applied to music, crucial for any musician who wishes to find a place on today’s market in my opinion.
