Hehe, I posted that this morning.

That is mine, why?

Sorry, I'll make an effort to check out what's yours. But my thoughts on how easily you can get your material into MP3 still apply.

When you went to the profile, what did you click on?
Ooooohh....
You clicked on attachments. The Symphony No. 2 was by a different member. He had only uploaded a Finale file and I provided a pdf and midi. Same with the chromatic waltz. "Gefunden" and "Variations (4) on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" are mine. Also the "Atonal Piece" and the "Gettysburg Cantata" are, but they are terrible...

Then you might want to check the link provided. It links to a member of youngcomposers.com by the name of "Edgar", who happens to have the same photo you posred on this forum. I could only assume you are the same person.

I don't know what pieces your talking about. I didn't write either of those...

Leopold;

You could easily record the Chromatic Waltz on piano as a WAV in a few minutes. And even with a simple MIDI synth you could, track by track, supply a rendition of your Symphony 2-1. I don't think a perfect production is necessary to provide some demonstration of your compositional style and method. If you derive an audio file from any of your work, simply burn it to CD, then rip the CD in Windows Media Player- available on any Windows operating system- in the MP3 format on best quality. I've taken the time to check out your external link, but many will simply pass up your profile if you don't make a sampling of your music immediately accessible on this forum. Nice work on the Symphony, BTW. I don't use the MP3 format for my own puposes, but it's no Herculean task to get your audio in that format. The other risk associated with linking to your external MIDI files is that someone like myself, on a laptop with no soundcard, is going to hear a rather substandard sounding of your work through MIDI, whereas if you do the audio from MIDI ahead of time, you can make some effort to get some decent voicings. Just some thoughts, and welcome to the forum.

Hi Leopold,

Welcome to the forum, I hope you find a way to post your music here rather than pointing members elsewhere. Fredrick perhaps meant to say 'picture' rather than 'photo' referring to your avatar. Looking forward to hearing your music.
