"Disclaimer. I don't mix music expressly for picture. Having said this I still use many of the same techniques they use occasionally. In the end I say whatever works. For me personally I have used synth drones instead of pipe drones in celtic…"

Nigel Campbell replied to Keith Theodosiou's discussion Orchestral Composing and Mixing Views
"I use some sub bass underneath to fill the bottom end and sometimes use synth pads as they can be very soft and rounded so they don't really stand out as a distinct thing when you are underscoring. In my personal work I mix orchestra and synths…"

"Hi Ingo, yeah I know what you mean, i'm the type that believe it's not how fast you can play but more how you play. I prefer to put felling into my guitar rather than speed. Glad you liked it and thanks for listening :)"

At the age of six i was asked by my parents if i wanted to learn the piano.Thankfully i said yes so from the age of six to twelve i was classically trained on the piano, then i heard rock music and stopped the piano and taught myself electric guitar and keyboards.I have been writing all styles of music from classical to rock since my late teens.I love all styles of music.
