I've created a short 45 second theme to introduce a series of audiobooks which are in the James Bond-ish genre. I wanted a very subtle reference to Bond, but also tried to make it different enough…Continue

This ballad has a slight 'hymnal' feel to it.I wanted to try and do something which sounded a little David Foster-ish.I sometimes struggle to get a sense of 'space' in my music, and things can sound…Continue

"An excellent entry into an audio book about the escapades of a spy. TBH, I can't say I would have immediately made the connection. The music itself lends well to that theme though."

Intro theme for a bond-esque audiobook

I've created a short 45 second theme to introduce a series of audiobooks which are in the James Bond-ish genre. I wanted a very subtle reference to Bond, but also tried to make it different enough that you wouldn't make the connection right away without being told.Does it achieve that goal?  Do you like it?  Any criticism? (good or bad both welcome)I know its rather short... sorry about that :). But as a theme tune it needs to be under a minute long.See More

I'm learning the tools and techniques required to create a film score.
I have previously produced electronic music for a technology website, but my interests are more in the production of Hollywood style film music.

I'm certainly not experienced in this field, I'm just a pianist with an interest in music technology and production.

I've already produced a couple of demos to see how my work stacks up against others, and really want to improve.

Thanks man. I actually JUST bought EWQL Gold and the Mic sets from the NAMM discount so I'm looking forward to playing with something other than Silver. Jealous of Platinum :)

Hey Julian - The progression and orchestration are definitely in the 'epic' Hollywood victory genre etc...a move in the right direction if that's what you're shooting for. Looking forward to hearing more!

Cheers - Ryan
