About Me:
I'm composer, enjoying writing orchestral music since 2003. It was a bit late for me to find (finally) my voice in music, and as a result I'm mostly self-taught. By education I'm a scholar with an M.A. in American history and currently I'm pursuing a Ph.D. I compose for the most part for myself, only occasionally being commissioned - that has resulted in several videogame and movie scores. My concert music was first performed in 2007 by East-Flanders Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Bruno De Schaepdrijver.
I like your music very much. Very good melodic sentences in your musical speech. And some great original aproaches.

Yes prisoners of our sample libraries. It is always a question of how much time to spend on the production/recording stage following the arranging of the composition. It sort of all happens at around the same time for me as I have no formal training in music, everything done by ear. Perhaps that is what you mean when you say I have a natural taste and approach. It is strange and I can't explain it myself when I write anything it just takes on a life of it's own.
It is probably the lack of theory that allows me to see past individual sampled voices and appreciate what is worth fixing :-)
Hi Dominic,
You present a very nice body of work here. Many of the sampled instruments are totally unconvincing, especially female voice and celtic pipes, but all of us having no easy access to the real thing, have to put up with that to varying degrees. Still, the pleasure is mine.
