August Champlin replied to Joost Visser's discussion Chorale
"Hi Joost, I just had the opportunity to listen to your chorale. First of all, it has a magisterial quality, a regal beauty and spirituality that I quite enjoyed. It does participate in the Nimrod vibe; however, it is a lovely piece. Since you…"

Liz Atems replied to Joost Visser's discussion Coral
"Coral or choral(e)? It is indeed a beautiful chorale! I could not figure out if it is purely for organ, or if there is a trumpet or two in there also. I *did* listen over speakers, a pair of external ones, Bose Companions, and it certainly…"

My computer was in a good mood this week, it allowed me to choose 2 different instruments without crashing (!) I had to be quick before it changed it’s mind…..:) So, here is a story……The next day after a wild night out, during one of my trips I was resting on a small tranquil cathedral square in Basel, Switzerland. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon and my ears were still protesting from the night before. A few people wandered aimlessly around trying to control their children. I was tired and…See More

Hello all,
I am an airline pilot who recently lost his job due to the Corona Pandemic. To find a new job in this market is hopeless so I started to compose some music.
I'm working with Logic Pro on an old MacPro that doesn't allow big orchestral settings unfortunately. So, for now, I'll try to write for piano only.
I would love some feedback on my pieces since I lost my objectivity. Anything is welcome......
