Just listening to your music. I love it. Had to drop you a message to say so. I'm heavily into film music - have been since 5 years old. It has definitely influenced how I enjoy music.

Best regards,

Jase

Thanks for the add Jeremy! I must say, that film trailer is epic (and the music you composed for it is fantastic a well)! I really enjoyed your other tracks as well. You have a great amount of diversity in your style. "Electronic Sunrise" echoed shades of C64 to my ears (but maybe that's just me). Keep up the great work!

Cheers from Finland,

Aloha Jeremy, Thanks for the friend request. I listened to some of your music and will be back for more soon. Really cool work and we both seem to hear solo strings with the same ear :-)

Ok, well to sum up. I have the old version and I bought the new one. Both of them pretty much are unusable for anything professional or semi professional. They are mostly good for just basic outlines of a score, but IMO I am mostly excited about w...

The original samples are mostly monophonic and recorded very dry, but the new engine has a pseudo stereo function, that makes the result a bit better together with reverb. Previous versions had a also more weak sound, IMO, but I don't know why. S...

August. I've just bought Finale 2010. Will that have GPO 3 or 4 in? I'm excited now. I'd better check. Sorry

I upgraded to GPO4. It does not have the Gofriller Cello or Stradivari Violin that you seek (I have these as well, and they are incomparably better than the solo samples included in GPO4). However, it has samples based on a Strad and Gofriller, ju...

Finale Notepad won't work with GPO or any other VST instrument. Only Finale itself supports those.

Well Chris, I don't know how to answer that fully. There is a lot of info that you're probably missing that would help you get the gist. The first thing I would do is check out the garritan home page. GPO works like a plugin and is VST and AU comp...

I'd like to invest in a garratan product but I don't know how they work really, do they have any demos I can try? I've been using Finale Notepad for a few years, but the garritan sounds are much better, and Finale limits My staves ='( Any help in...

Well, I have access to my church, which is now one of the locations considered to host the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, while they upgrade the Boettcher Concert Hall. I don't know if they will get it, but it shows how decent the church is. As for ...

New versions of the Strad and Gofriller are supposed to be included in GOS 2, along with some additional solo strings, similarly programmed. No word for now on when that's supposed to come out (soon, I hope!) The solo strings in GPO 4 are basical...

I would cough up the 49$ if they included some marcato articulations and such like. not otherwise. I really like the solo cello in GPO, but no marcato means I'm not that likely to trot her out again anytime soon, I'd include that 49 bucks in some...

What kind of room do you have to work with? Unless you have a large, acoustically sound room, trees wont help as the idea of a tree is to record room sound refractions with your main sound (i.e. recording at a distance). What kind of instrumentat...

Really, I thought they have it posted on the Garritan website that they included both stringed instruments in the GPO4, I hope that it is the same thing.
