About Me:
I am happily married to a beautiful woman and the father of a wonderful 3 year old with a second child to arrive soon. I am a Middle school Band Director, for six years I was also the assistant Band Director for a local college. In addition to being a teacher, I am also director of our church's rhythm section and the church's arranger. My other arranging credits are for marching bands, concert bands, small jazz groups and brass quientet. My major instrument in school was Trombone but I minored in flute, bassoon and clarinet. Over the years I have picked up euphonium, trumpet, Alto Sax, guitar and Electric bass which is what I play most of the time these days.

Thanks, Jeff. Your stuff sounds good too.
I'm hoping to do some of my own arranging soon. Got a keyboard and a mic stand, and now am working on an arrangement of O' Holy Night for Kim. Also picked up a songbook of tunes from The Blenders, which is the group that originally inspired me to try this one-man a capella stuff. I'll post something as soon as I get a new tune together.
The Three tunes I added were all meant to be theme music for podcasts which is why they are so short. I tried to put a cross section of my music up. I will have jazz waltz up shortly that I composed for my elder daughter.
Woa! It's J diggidy dog Smith! Welcome to the Composer's Forum! Check out all the awesome blogs and forums, post some sample music of yours, and write about your experiences with music!
