Jan-Frederik Carl replied to Geert ter Horst's discussion Diatonic Symmetries II
"Hi Geert, listening to this is really an experience. It feels as if you hear the same melody again and again in one voice and simultaneously in different voices. The melody itself impresses by its pure beauty. Very interesting. The only odd thing I…"

I am a (relativley fresh) hobby composer and work on contempary music as well as pop songs, mostly for piano.

Although I have been interested in composition for a very long time, only recently I decided to really go for it and to finally subordinate my other big love, literature, to it ;)

I am regularly practicing the piano and have taken violin lessons as well as attending a choir for several years.
