Raymond Kemp said… Hi James,
I keep forgetting to switch skype on :) My teething troubles with my new pc have settled down a little so I have some time to address others and their questions. Audio Cards? how much do you want to spend because more buys you more. If I buy a new one it'll probably be RME.....why? Because the drivers are better than most meaning, less dropouts, latency etc.
Now that may not be something you have or will come across depending on the speed of your cpu and size of ram in hardware terms and the size of your template in software sample library terms. Without seeing or you listing the spec of the system you have, it is difficult to give an educated reference.

Between Apple and Microsoft Operating Systems it's not always easy to find embed code for widgets working in every browser. Such is life!

Raymond Kemp said… You will not get real benefit from using Cubase unless you get the hang of using control changes. Expression, pan etc.
Raymond Kemp said… Well done James,
There will be no stopping you now.
Have you used Cubase to tweak your music? Although EWQLSO doesn't have legato samples, it can be camouflaged with the prudent use of continuous controllers in Cubase.
Raymond Kemp said… Can I have a link to your soundcloud page?
Raymond Kemp said… James,
The share button in soundcloud gives you the embed code option. tick HTML5 box. copy the code and using the media option (the one that looks like film) paste it in the box then save.

I've replied by PM on the music player issue.
Reading above I see we are both of the same age and began composing at a similar time of life and for the same reason. My main weapon has been guitar rather than piano since my youth but our taste in composers match although I would include Morricone.
