About Me (MUST be more than 10 words to be approved):: Classical music is at the heart of all the music I make but I love to combine it faithfully in any medium/genre of music I create. "Academia" is a near possibility and I'm excited to fill in the gaps to further my skills with writing great music.

I've never had a lesson in theory, orchestration, or piano and over the last few years I've written some ambitious works. I wrote my first symphony three years ago, the second the following year, and have numbers three and four on the way. For solo piano I've written two classical piano sonatas, and piano impromptu in three parts. The typical masters have always been an influence and I've been guilty of pastiche on occasion however I feel I do have my own voice and am able to produce great work without emulation.

I enjoy a lot of different styles of music but am put off by the air of the elite that some composers have had on this site. We make music for our enjoyment - our experiences are relative, criticism is fine, but snobbery is an ugly outfit to wear.

Symphony for the Four Elements

After a long period of rest from music, I'm back with something almost entirely different from what I normally do.

This first movement of four is a symphony I wrote over the last 2 weeks geared towards professional spas during relaxing treatments. Facials, massages, or other services will be combines with these elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, in order to provide a more relaxing experience.

It is my style of posting everywhere to place emp[hasis on a word. If when speakign it, I would emphasize the word slightly, I will capitalize it. MOST people fault me for the constant "LMAO" and "lol" I pepper my posts liberally with. I am well known anywhere I go, for "essay length" posts, and telling a sizeable anecdote story.

Would it be in this "code" of mine if I just said "I like it?" when I like something? Perhaps i should start making mono-syllabic responses if it would make you happy... I DO aim to please. (and there i go with the darned capitals again, sorry)

PS - I was engeged with a back-and-forth with a guy on here, where I WAS adopting a smug, smartaleck tone... that was just a personal back and forth thing.

PPS - I would actually be interested where I am using this "code"... uhm, while we're talking about "pretention" and all... isn't it slightly pretentious for you to call yoursef "the second?"... normally, its "Jr."... its only after the Sr and the Jr that they start using roman numerals III?
