- I am a writer and composer from the UK. I started playing the piano when I was 14 and not long after started to compose my own music. I studied music at Exeter University but dropped out after a year. Since then I have done a lot of library music in a variety of different genre's - primarily down-tempo/trip-hop - which I also release under my pseudonym The Legendary Danny K. Over the past few years however I have returned to writing orchestral music, including the music to my first original OST currently in production - and I have become an associate member of PRS and a member of BASCA. I am keen and passionate about being an independent musician and the odd empowerment the internet has offered the artist in the digital age.

Jack, I think this suite is emotional and meaningful. I can feel sadness and a motion of something pushing on.
Whilst I wouldn't put a ripping guitar solo over it, I think a sparce but harsh cello voice with simple phrasing would add to it.

I'm not so sure - I think this organic process can be quite useful to both parties. That way you can score out a couple of ideas in different directions and during the filming process use editing software to take a look and see how some of your idea…
Oh, you have 2 more movements. Cool! The 4th adds a bit of variety which is nice. It's still set in the same rhythmic frame but with different textures and some melodies. It's cool!

thank you for the nymanesque comment, it seems after he composed
'the heart asks pleasure' he forever owns the aminor chord (add 9th)...
i hope in 'bord de la mer' you might have noticed each time i come back to the a minor chord, it's from a different place, first dminor, a major, even emajor and eminor...
i love nyman's obscure 'zinc piano' and 'enemy zero, with the piece 'love', and the cook,thief and wife music...
