Include a link to your website if you have one.: I'm an amateur composer of symphonic and chamber insturmental music. I aspire to create new ideas by returning to tonality and then branching in new directories. I have not yet reached far enough beyond derivative work to attempt to bring my work to public view, but I think I'm at least approaching that point finally. My role models in symphonic music are Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Eshpai, and Yasushi Akutagawa, as well as the serious (not PDQ Bach) work of Peter Schickele. I am also very fond of the symphonic work that Edgar Meyer and Mark O'Connor have done in recent years.
