My musical training began as a preschooler: my mother gave me piano lessons until neither of us could stand it any more, which didn't take too long.  I'm sure I started making up tunes soon…Continue

"Very much enjoyed this.  It's not to difficult so that many pianist could play it without too much practice.  The last few measures, (ending) could be spiced up with a fes unusual chords, just a thought.  Good work."

About Me (Must include at least one paragraph of biographical information about you as a composer) - blank or minimal answers on this line will cause your request to be rejected. Include a link to your website if you have one.
I’ve been playing keyboards since I was a young child, and studied classical organ for about 8 years. I’m comfortable enough with a guitar (folk) and recorders to play them on stage well enough to do it on a stage, and mess around with banjo (clawhammer), dulcimer (both kinds), string bass, and bass guitar. I’ve learned the fundamentals of cello, clarinet, sax, trombone, trumpet, but I’ve never gotten a decent tone out of any transverse flute, or been able to wrap my brain around harmonica or anglo concertina.
I sang in school choruses, learned choral directing on the fly with a corporate chorus, and as the music director at two Episcopal churches. I used to be a software engineer, and hope to be one again someday.
To date I have about a hundred compositions, about half sacred and half secular, about ⅓ instrumental and ⅔ vocal. For the past ten years I've been Music Director for a small Episcopal church.
