Remnants of a Glorious Empire

Remnants of a Glorious Empire is a piece I composed for piano which describes the remnants of a long-forgotten empire in Europe. The structure of the piece is ABA'.The first section is majestic (the tempo indication says so, "maestoso"), describing how the empire was, describing the society, the architecture and creating an atmosphere for it.
