Hello and welcome to my Composers forum page.
I am originally from Scotland I now live in the sunny midlands. I compose for film and Tv and am an independant recording artist managed through ASongs music, London.
I've composed for various international film trailers ( Lord of the Rings, Hidalgo, Rocky ) TV channels ( BBC, SKY TV) and had various uses on the US drama shows like CSI. I recently headlined the new Jaguar XK90 ad campaign and have just finished music for new independant film 'Come Together'.
As a recording artist my remixes include Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Elbow and the Divine Comedy.Currently in production is a collaborative project with Craig Gannon ( The Smiths ) and Martin Rebelski ( Doves ). Along with ongoing vocal projects with Sabina ( Brazillian Girls ), Charlene Arva, Matt Johnson and Stev Mason ( Beta Band ).

Thanks for writing back. I hope this is useful to you. I have gotten few comments of any sort, all in all, but it looks like my style and so on is different than most of the folks visiting the site.
Stay in touch as you will, OK? The book is about a young violinist and her transformation from pretty good with a streak of evil to becoming alive for all time. We'll see how it goes. Also have worked on a book about composing, but it has been on the shelf for about six months now; might have to bring it back at some point in time - we'll see.

I see a friend request from you - what's the connection for us?
Nice that you're working in film and so on and making a living. Right now I'm writing a novel rather than composing. I'll be composing again soon, though - when the novel is close enough to finished, that is. Seems I can only do one of them at a time, unless I'm writing an opera - music and libretto.
I was in Scotland one time - fished for salmon on the Tay; it was great being there, and I'd like to visit again one of these days. We'll see. My middle daughter is getting married in May, and she and her new hubby will be heading to Durham in England so he can do a PHD in Theology - Hebrew.
