"OK ................. here I go, I'm about to open my big mouth. I think all of you are missing the big picture. It's not the critique. Hell, that's what we are here for. You wonder why you have so many members join, only to pass…"
"That's a great post Bob.......... and you are spot on. I joined this group to surround myself with people of class and culture, that are good at there work and hobbies, and that want to share. I was wrong. A good many of the people n this…"
"I seem to remember otherwise. Before there was a midi standard, we were creating midi files and porting them into various recorders to capture the events. It was back in the middle to late seventies when this was taking place.
"OK, I have a question. When you wrote/composed this piece, did you start with a score? I mean did you put it done on paper (scoring software) first, or did you perform this on a keyboard controller and record the midi into your DAW to create a…"
"You will ................. as much as I would like to say that you will find time to attend your little pleasures, you will find it quite fleeting. There will be some occasions when you will have a spare day or two, but you will probably want to…"

About Me (Must include biographical information about you as a composer):
I have been searching for a place that is comprised of adults, and people of some education in the music field, other than those that think screaming into a mic is considered music. I grew up with a father that indoctrinated me to the classics, and allowed me to pursue my interest in music. I discovered the violin and it's magic at the age of five, and pursued it with diligence and vigor until I was in my early thirties. I have gone well past my sixtieth birthday, and because of certain conditions, I now create music electronically. I have been working with computer assisted music composition for more than thirty years. It seems that the technology has finally given to it's promise. I don't perform, nor do I sell music. I use my time in my studio as my escape from the world of ........ well that is a discussion for another day. I still work full time (as a plumber), and will probably continue to do so until I leave this world. My favorite composer in the modern world is John Williams. Tchaikovsky is and always will be on my mind. If you let me in, I promise to not be too abrasive, and grumpy. I'm really not too bad for an old man.
I have a web site, but only use for storage and such.
