Internships?

So, I am a fourth year music student in Massachusetts.  I need to find an internship for school.  I know that I want to try to get an internship the involves music licensing and composing, but I don't really know where to look.  I am not afraid to travel. I'm not looking for someone to offer me an internship, I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to start.See More

"I've been using EZ drummer for my kits.  I know it's a dated but it sounds pretty decent for what I'm doing.  I have Garritan (came with finale) and I agree, I don't like it at all!    I was also looking into…"

"I'm a student as well, and I personally use Logic with E.W. Gold for my orchestra stuff.  A cheaper alternative is Garritan Personal Orchestra, but I really didn't like the sounds that they had."

"Is it frowned upon to use the virtual instruments that come with logic?  What about plugins?  I like to write for full orchestras but I feel like a lot of those plugins are going to be VERY much out of my price range."

Beginner Composer seeking some tech advice

Hey So I am a fourth year music student.  I do a lot of composing for myself and I am currently trying to put together a reel. I primarily use finale to write my music.  I am pretty proficient with Logic as well.  I really want to start getting my name out there but I am a little nervous because I don't have a lot to work with.  I don't have a fast computer, I only have a crappy mac laptop.  I want to be able to make decent quality sounded music that won't kill my wallet or my RAM/…See More
