Thanks for the comments on Water Potion. More counter point would be interesting. The piece has been flexably scored so it only really has three parts (for any instrument) + percussion, but this would certainly be something I will consider to enrich it. Cheers. all the best

I'm honored about your friendship invitation. I don't know when you asked for my friendship, I'm not a specialist of social network, so sorry if you waited for some days...
See you
P.S. Prometheus it's really nice.

Kristofer Emerig said… Chris,
I'll be listening to your new material soon. Lately I've been establishing a new shop complete with on site 230/460 three phase power. Got a well tooled Mazak engine lathe out of a GM auction which thankfully predates Japan's recent radioactive inundation (spared me the expenditure of a Geiger counter).
Without the prospective additions of a desk and virginals, I haven't yet got back to much music making here, enjoying only the most meager and primitive amenities, eg, laptop, well, piss-jar, etc. I think no respectable machine shop can be deemed complete until the virginals are put in place, tuned, and regulated.
Thank you very much for your comments. I'm hearing your music while I'm writing this. I like "Element" and "Scarab". I think your music it's really particular, all sound are simple and very clean, sometime it's great, sometime I think it could be better to give more ambience. Of course this is just a little opinion...
Btw, great job!

Thanks for the comments. Really interesting music. I'm not just saying that. I love fourths and fifths too. It sounds like your a guitarist/composer. What I most like is that your music is fairly unpredictable. Meaning your appear to be using familiar frameworks, but adding your very own twist. I like the distinct moods you create. You make it sound easiy!
Very best wishes
Matt

The title "The spoon is too cold" comes from my daughter ( then 5 years old). One day for breakfast it was the only thing she could find to complain about!
Listening to your great music right now!
Cheers

Kristofer Emerig said… Enjoying Onomatopoeia, a word which, were it an onomatopoeia itself, would be representative of an unimaginably weird sound. "Achoo!", and thanks for sharing Chris.
