About Me (MUST be more than 10 words to be approved):
Uploading music with heavy game/film influences. I have written some piano pieces as well as pop/rock with lyrics but none recorded. Right now I would want to know as much as possible about mixing so if you have listened to any of my songs and have an opinion on the mixing please share and don't worry if you sound harch, I know it's hard to give critique on music.

I produce my songs in Open modplug tracker and it rocks!

I was using Open MPT because it was quite advanced and I wanted to reuse some of my old Amiga mod files. After a few months I wasn't fully satisfied from the performance and functionality of Open MPT and I decided to by Renoise which I've been using since then. In some aspects Open MPT was easier to use but in others Renoise is superior. It took me some time to convert files produced in Open MPT to Renoise format - especially all VST effects.

Hi Calle,

Actually this is what brought me to the Composers' Forum! I found your post about finishing Dark City on another forum, probably related to Open MPT (which I was using at that time), and there was a link to your profile. And then I registered here...

Coming back to your question: yes, I like Dark Forum.

Regards, Piotr

Hey what kinds of Vst's could you see being designed for the Open MPT enviroment? Any ideas?

I haven't looked for my Modules in ages. I made alot of S3m's back in the day. I will have to go out to the garage this week and fire up the old Amiga 500 to see if they are archived out there. I use mostly Reaper and Ableton these days but Open MPT has some tricks that I should start using again. I'm so busy programing VST's I haven't had enough time for music lately, but I have always intended to get back to the Mod files one day.
