Love the track "Waterfall" on your website among others. Quick question though...Are you using a Yamaha Motif? I thought I heard some of the sounds from 1. Anyway I'd love to collaborate on something. If you have any piano parts that you want to s...

About Me:
I was born in Hungary. I am a classically trained pianist with a few more years jazz piano studies. Through the years as I grew up, I was breathing in not only the beauty of classical music, but also finding the excitement of heavy metal, and progressive music. This mixture of musical genres probably led me to my present musically open character. After 12 years of classical piano studies, 4 years of jazz piano studies and several awards of classical piano competitions behind me, I started composing music at the age of 16.
In the beginning I became very interested in 70’s progressive music after hearing some great bands from that fantastic era. First bands I recall that made a huge impression on me were King Crimson, Doors, Atomic Rooster and ELP which definitely determined my attitude to music. This is reflected in my first rhythmically complex progressive compositions which later became more settled and mixed with melancholic melodies. The compositions have the same mixture as my musical background, with different feelings and emotions, crazy, atmospheric, heavy, rhythmical piano riffs in rotation with classical themes. Sometimes playing with virtuosity and sometimes simply rocky, in a seventies organ style..
In recent years I have also become interested in, and started studying, film music- and some of my later compositions show different emotional moods and feelings.

Diverse enthusiastic compositions! Waterfall is epic and constantly moving. Barbarian exhibits much complexity, force, and restraint. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
Thanks so much for your kind words!! I enjoyed very much listening to your music, I specially liked Minimalist2 and Love Dreams!! Hope to stay in touch and hear more of your music soon!
Interesting background to me as well ,as I used to be lead guitarist in a prog/extreme metal band!
It's amazing to me the connection between metal and atmospheric filmy music! It's something I've always felt ;)
Keep it up....it's good stuff!
I listened to Love Dream. Nice! I think we might have some similar tastes and similar compositional styles. I too often write "melancholic" pieces.
Also, good luck on your search for work. I'm currently working on eight instrumentals that I plan to market for licensing in media. The music on my page does not fully represent what I do. Within in the next couple weeks I should have something new up. You can also check out early drafts of two of my compositions in the Music Dissection Forum.
