I don't know if anyone's going to post any compositions here but I'll give it a bash anyway. The recent "Noch bist du da" is a short poem about death but also hope by the Jewish poet Rose Ausländer, scored here for alto, cor anglais, flute and small string ensemble. Any comments welcome!

    just quickly to say that I've been busy converting my vocal works to SythesizerV AI synth. This work was in fact the very first I did. In most cases it's a huge improvement on what went before but those who picked this up first time please listen to see if you agree.

    Love the lightfooted energy of the first movement, and the way it evolves constantly whilst remaining grounded until its ternary bipolarity hits with all its might.

    The second movement is an intriguing and enjoyable romantic journey. I loved the return of the harp motif.

    I must admit I didn't expect the perfect cadence at the end! I enjoyed the defiance!

    Hi David:  Thanks for posting this lovely work.  Your setting of "Worte verschenken
    noch bist du da" was particularly effective. I'm hopeful that your initiative will jumpstart some activity here.
