You've got a nice piece there, but It sounds like output from Finale, and as such, it's completely lacking in expression. There's no dynamics nor rubato. I know you play well so here's my suggestion, arrange the piece for flute and piano then learn, rehearse and record it (with flutist of course). I'd be very curious to hear that and I'm sure it will be much more convincing than this one. It's hard to critique the work itself since this recording doesn't show it in a good light. I hope that's helpful.
