Any more challenges?

Just wondering if there will be any new music challenges. By the way, it's funny to come across this, because I've begun to start my own musical games as well, although with improvisation, not com...

With Simon's return I hope he picks up with the music challenge group again! Please nudge him to get it going again, it was showing such momentum!

Simon:
I only meant to point out that the group description still reads that "each week" we will have a challenge. It's not terribly important, but still caught my attention.

put suggestions for new ones in the suggestion box thread, thanks

I know this is a small point, but shouldn't we update the group description for prospective new members who don't know that the challenge is now monthly?
Chris Alpiar Comment by Chris Alpiar on February 2, 2009 at 5:58pm
I will try and pop in and participate at least. The biggest problem we had was the the groups did not auto email people in the beginning so you had to manually check in to see whats going on. They only fixed that semi recently and so most of the older members arent even aware, they just never got emails with new messages so they never clicked and checked in.

Great! Don't forget the scavenge the Suggestions Box.

Alpiar set out the rules of this group, and then went away to care for IAC. Not only understandable, but commendable. Now, it's great that we have a manager again. But, why not capitalize on the work already done, including the suggestions, including the conclusion that weekly is too fast, go monthly, etc.

This would really be a great way to explore new music and learn outside of the box through personal immersion into unexpected practical music situations. If this group becomes active again I think I'll definitely try my hand at it and participate.
