Well, let's get started then. What kind of religious music do you like most? And how do you think religious music should sound? Do you believe religious music should only be for Church? Or also another House of Worship? 

Why do you compose religious music?

Yes, I saw that you wanted some more activity. I think everyone is busy doing their own thing. So maybe not everybody is super intersted in writing on this wall.. But maybe I may ask you something? Why is it so very interesting for you to compose religious works? Do you have special whishes for that? Just to share some ideas...

Hello So Hyun Jong, I also was very happy to find this site, but unfortunately the members here are very inactive, I wish more creative discussions about what, why and how to compose music for religious connections, may be you are more active that wet get a new activation in this group

Wow, there is a site for religious works! I am glad to have found this page!! I would love to write choir music. I have been doing that a bit, but didn't yet fully succeed... Anyway, I am glad to be here, and I will check on all your music!!

Well this is mostly for british composers isn't it? But, you know, the world is much bigger and it has even in Europe, artistic communities less know and heard than the big Others, the Arab, the Oriental, the African. It is amazing how being a european peripheral composer is inexistent. Some years ago the Irish composer wrote an article "The honor of non-existence". Of course Ireland is also peripheral as we all now know according to EU directives. I wrote one oratorium "Judas secundum Lucam...." that you can find on my page and I'm writng now a Requiem commissioned by Gulbenkian Foundation for 2013-14 season. Wish me luck.
